Christopher J. Opolski

Christopher Opolski is the Lead Process Controls / Automation Engineer at OSDV Engineering.  Christopher is the lead of the controls and automation engineering group which involves the development of project budgets, system designs, and managing the engineering team in the execution of all phases of controls and instrumentation work at OSDV.

Christopher has been in the industry for over 25 years previously working for various manufacturing, automation engineering, and process engineering consulting firms.  He has provided hands-on, on-site programming, configuration, and troubleshooting to install and debug process control systems (hardware and software) in the start-up/commissioning of manufacturing and industrial facilities.  Christopher has performed engineering analysis and design on complex process design/build projects.  He has implemented many process control systems in the manufacturing industries, utilizing Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens PCS, and General Electric control systems, by developing the system architecture, design documentation, electrical drawings, execution of control logic, batch reporting, and system testing in the chemical, pharmaceutical/biotech, wastewater, energy, food/beverage and manufacturing industries.

Christopher has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.  He has been a member of ISPE for 15 years, served on the board of directors for eight years, and was President of the Boston Area Chapter in 2014-2015.  He earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and was previously the student chapter president of AICHE.
