Charles A. Clerecuzio, P.E., FAIChE, CPIP

Charles is co-founder, Principal and Chief Engineer OSDV Engineering. In this role he ensures the quality of all  designs and work product developed by OSDV. He performs and supervises engineering related to process design, process and utility equipment, utility systems, scale up, technology transfer, master planning and due diligence for our customers.

He has developed process designs for customers including first of a kind as well as established processes. He has  worked on all scales of operations from pilot plant through launch facilities through full-scale commercial facilities. He has worked on the design, procurement, construction, EPC, commissioning, start-up and validation of facilities in the chemical, oil and gas, pharm/biotech, biofuels, energy and food / beverage Industries.  Here’s perform feasibility studies, troubleshooting, master planning, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and independent engineering studies for the DOE and USDA.

Charles has a BA in Zoology and MS in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering both from Rutgers University as well as an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Stern School of NYU. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, a Fellow for AIChE and a Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP). Charles is the 2013 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year and has received the Buz Lange Award from ISPE .  He is past president for the Delaware Valley Chapters for both ISPE and AICHE.
